This is a network of people who have become frustrated with American-Christianity or simply feel a lack of connection with God, period. The long and tried Tradition of monastic (monks and nuns) Christian spirituality is deep and wide. It provides a pattern and means for all of us to discover deep spiritual reflection, quite contemplation, and connection with God that goes beyond the trendy and banal.

Another example of a generational sea change...

I've been saying for the last 10 years or so that there is a generational sea change being realized in North America, particularly in the U.S. To be honest, I'm less familiar with what is going on in Canada, but I suspect something similar.
